Inspiration Monday - August 1st 2011

Our inspiration for today is Alexa Chung in a very casual romper with an olive shirt and wedges. Since we are having the first warm day for quite a while I decided on a dress as I have no romper (other than as pj's and you don't really want to see them) and a jacket instead of the shirt. I even wore my purple wedges with a heel, Inspiration Monday inspires me to wear heels once in a while.

Inspiration Monday July 25th 2011

Our inspiration for today is Heidi Klum in a top and skinnies with flats. A very comfortable and wearable Mommy Outfit for everyday. Since our summer has kind of left us the last weeks and it has been cold and rainy, it is great outfit to copy and wear all day. I really wanted to show some nice pictures, but my camera had to be loaded and then the lighting was bad and only a few really turned out. This is a combination I will put on my vacation list. I will be needing easy and comfortable clothes for two weeks of sailing. Packing books will probaly take more time on deciding than what to pack other than bikinis.

Inspiration Monday - 11 july

 

Eigentlich wollte ich diesen Montag bei Inspiration Monday two birds  mitmachen. Dieses Outfit von Kate Moss gefällt mir richtig gut, erst fand ich die Hose gar nicht so schön - längsstreifen. Nach mehrmaligen anschauen und die Überlegung wie ich das umsetzen könnte fand ich dieses Bild von Heidi Klum in der gleichen Hose. Die Version von Kate Moss mit Ballerinas oder die Elegant Jacke und Heels dazu wie Heidi Klum, ich habe in meinem Schrank nichts zur Umsetzung gefunden und habe es sein lassen. Ich würde die Ballerinas und die weiße Jacke zu der Hose kombinieren. Welche Variante gefällt euch besser?

I had planned on taking part on Inspiration Monday by two birds . At first I did not like this outfit by Kate Moss, but after looking at it again and again trying to come up with an idea for Inspiration Monday I decided I find the striped pants quite nice. I found a picture of Heidi Klum pairing the pants with a white jacket and heels. Since I do not have anything in my closet to try this look I will start planing my outfit for next week.  I would wear the pants with a white jacket and ballerinas for a look I could wear everyday. Which styling do you prefer?

Inspiration Monday July 4th

Today I am back to Inspiration Monday by  two birds!

Today's inspiration is Gwyneth Paltrow in a wonderful white and blue dress. I found a dress that I have had for at least 10 years and have not worn for many years. I changed the belt for a scarve and decided on flat sandals.

Today I am back to Inspiration Monday by  two birds!

Today's inspiration is Diane Kruger, she is wearing a lovely colour combination of green and  purple/magenta on a shopping trip. I tried two versions with the lovely stylings of Diane Kruger and even if these are colours I would never have thought of combining  together,  I did find them quite nice together. Inspiration Mondays always gives me a reason to dig out my heels that I very seldom wear. Diane Kruger looks so casual in this outfit and I do feel rather dressed up. But, now I could imagine wearing these colours together, I would change the cross-body bag for a clutch to make it more elegant.

Today I am back to Inspiration Monday by  two birds. as I do not have a long black skirt like Olivia Wilde, I choose one of my short black ones. I really wanted to wear my new blue ballerinas, so I paired it with a blue cardigan. It is fairly cool here today so if it does get warmer I can always take it off. Now I am off to run some errands and am hoping the sun will come out.

My new Ras Ballerinas, which I orderd from England and they were marked down to 40 Pounds. They have such a cute bow on top and really are comfortable.

Later I changed into flats and a more casual combination for running errands and running about  town. I very seldom wear heels and feel more comfortable in flat shoes.

Well, here is my 2. take! I would like to thank you all for your lovely comments last week, they really made me feel welcome! 
This one was actually quite easy, as summer dresses and jeans jackets are my favourites, only the sandals are a problem because I don't like my toes in open shoes.I still needed three outfits and I dindn't like any of my combinations, so I just combined my jeans jacket with my ' stay at home and be lazy' dress, which I wore on Sunday!

Now I only need someone to take better pictures!
